Daily gratitude from Dubai

I’m grateful I made it to Dubai and did not freak out when my flight got canceled, grateful that my hotel is super comfortable because I needed to catch up on sleep after traveling for over 24 hours. But I’m mostly grateful at how many people have sent well wishes and referrals and just made me feel like they care. That means the world to me, especially when I’m on my own. Right now I’m sitting in the lobby of my hotel while people are fixing the lights and an Emmys preview is playing on TV. Much to explore this week, but I have to remember one day at a time and that this is a vacation, which means I don’t have to do umpteen things in one day to enjoy it.
